About the Minneapolis Ski Club
The Minneapolis Ski Club is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. The purpose of the MSC is to develop skiers in the Nordic disciplines of Cross Country, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined for participation in regional, national, international and Olympic competitions.
About Coach Kevin Brochman
Athletic Career
- 1984 & 1988 Olympic Team Member
- 1989 World Championship Team Member
- Member of the US Ski Team from 1982-1991
- 25 Top 10 finishes at US National Championship Events
- Junior National Champion, 1977, 4th Place at MN State Ski Meet
- He has completed 4 marathons with a best of 2:39:59, best 10km 33:47
- Four top 10 finishes in the Birkiebeiner, with a best place of 5th overall. That race he was 6.9 seconds from becoming the first American to win the Birke in 25 years.
- Best bike average in a race, 24.7 MPH.
Coaching Career
Kevin has worked with two skiers that have been NCAA Champions, Olympians and National Champions. He has worked with 13 skiers that have won gold medals at Junior Nationals. Here is a list of individual State Champions that Kevin has worked with the past 10 years.

Athletic interests
Currently Kevin races the Mora Vasaloppet and the Birkebeiner every year. He also competes in running races, multi event races with duathlons and this year the Xterra Winter Games.
